Why Is That My Nuffnang Ads Always Appear At The Wrong Side of The Clock?

I heard it all before but what I've yet to get is experiencing it. And here in the wee hour, I realized that Nuffnang ads are all over my blog and it's 3:00 am.

Now, how do I benefit from this when I know that most of my hits comes in during the day and the ones that always comes in the wee hours are usually from the other side of the world which is no matter how big is the volume of unique hits at this hour it will not be counted as they are not from Nuffnang served country? Weird ...

So, in a way I'm making lesser money ..

Oh ya, that's the beauty of what we would like to call "marketing strategy" or maybe "product positioning". Marketing, I used to hate this subject during my uni days. There were just so many things to read.

By the way ever since my dot.com was closed down I decided not to put so many stuffs on my blog e.g : slogbites, entrecard, adigitize and what not. Not that because they're not good but because I see no point putting it up since I won't really be benefiting from it anyway ...

suituapui : Ha ha ha .. Maybe, maybe. But that KL lifestyle being imposed on how my ads run in this blog, no thanks - It won't do me any good because ads are not displayed at prime time. Nobody come to your blog that time. No visit = no money. They wanna cut cost and cheat people kot?

Sometime, just don't understand Nuffnang ads....suddenly appear, but most of the time it is not there!

3.00 a.m? that's very early. those advertisers are really making a lot of money but they just never give people who put the ads in their blog a nice return. I already forget about the advertisers ads and just concentrate on write my own post.

well to be honest, i'm not entitled to answer any queries raised through blog posts as the right channel for anyone to seek information about nuffnang is through the helpdesk.

but since suituapui already mentioned my name in the 1st comment i guess i'll just play ball. lol

Allocations for ads are counted based on the number of impressions or clicks the advertiser purchase divided by the number of days the advertiser intended for the campaign to run. Take for an example an advertiser purchase 700 ad impressions on your blog for a week's period. That literally means, it will be divided into 7 days and each day the ad will only be served to the first 100 visitors to your blog.

As each day begins anew at 12.00am, thus the ads will start showing from that time till the allocation of 100 impressions are used up for that day. Thus that is why at times, ads doesn't show anymore once it reaches the late evening due to the fact that the impressions the advertiser purchased for the day has all been used up for.

Oh, no wonder I seldom see any Nuffnang ads on my blog, all impressions allocation for the day has been used up by the time I wake up in the morning :P

I think the less ads on your blog, the better for us readers. Heh heh.

I think to seriously earn from blogs, better use Google Adsense. It's international and most people who click on your ads are from USA anyway. So your organic traffic got to be high from there : )

Hmmm, I think it's the same with many other NN blogs, at least those I've been to. No offense to the NN team though, I know they work hard and what not, but somehow Adsense flash ads "show up" more often than NN too.

alexallied : Yeah, I'm just thinking that as a gliterati member, I think that there should be ads all the time because to be displaying the "I served Nuffnang ads" banner is just soo .. what's the word? Pathetic?

Pete : Yes Pete, that's very true. A lot of people have been complaining and what they have yet to get is to be explain about the whole thing and to be let known of how the thing actually works.

Robb : So, I guess the impressions bought on my blog is merely around 50 per day or less because I only have 30-40 visitors per day and sometimes ads are not there. Or maybe a lot more less. Why not Nuff let us know on how many impression bought on our space? I think that it would be better so that we won't have to ask why why why all the time.

bongkersz : The impressions on your blog, I think the allocation not enough and maybe it doesn't really justify the number of unique hits daily on your blog. I think for blogs with more visitors, should be more allocations and NN should market more of these blogs and make full use of it instead of sekejap ada sekejap tak ada thing.

Jimmy : That's almost impossible. Better check with them.

foongpc : Less ads better eh? Then my blog would be dull and pale. Ha ha ha

JL : Yes, JL I agree. Adsense ads flashes all the time regardless how many unique hits you have. Be it only one hit per day, the ads still shows. I hope NN can be or at least try to be better than Adsense.

i dont really check when my nuffnang ads appear on my blog.. i know nuffnang its just doing their job.. but if no ads appear.. must contact nuffnang then! hahahah =D

i JUST fix my Nuffnang ads you need to update your surveys.. to bad i lost my Adsense they say I got invalid click activity.. One Google ads is enough to avoid invalid click activity
